The Phantom Badlands

Hello jammers! It’s Marigold here with a post on the newest adventure in Jamaa called The Phantom Badlands. This post might contain some spoilers. Enjoy!

The Phantom Badlands is really fun but it takes a lot of thinking. Just like in the Hidden Falls Adventure, I used the written walk through. If I hadn’t used the walk through I probably wouldn’t have made it to the end of the adventure. Here is the link to the walk through.

In  the Phantom Badlands there are 3 paths you can take, the blue, red, or purple. So far I’ve only done the blue path. My least favorite part of the adventure is probably having to get through the Phantom Tar. My favorite part of the adventure is exploring the shrine at the end. The Phantom Spouts in this adventure reminds me of the Flame Spurts in the movie The Princess Bride. The Flame Spurts have a popping sound before it shoots fire, and the phantom spouts have bubbles before it shoots phantom goop.

One thing I found interesting about this adventure is the Mechachompers. The Mechachompers are the chomper plants that destroy phantoms in this adventure. In past adventures chomper plants have been called Underground Chomper from The Hidden Falls Adventure. In underwater adventure they are called Chomper Calms. Another interesting thing about this adventure are the Bounceshrooms. The Bounceshrooms are basically mushrooms that bounce you higher. The Bounceshrooms were also used in the adventure The Front Lines.

Here is a photo gallery of this adventure:
