Tiki Trouble

Hi jammers! Today, I have a post on the seasonal adventure Tiki Trouble. Enjoy!

Tiki Trouble is definitely one of the harder adventures that AJ has made. In this adventure you have exactly 17 minutes to collect three pearls and give them to Kapena, Momi, and Koa Tiki Statues. Doesn’t sound so hard does it?

The set back in this adventure, is that for each tiki statue you have to find a specific item. For the Kapena Tiki Statue you have to a gold coin in the light blue water that surrounds the WHOLE Island. You must rummage through the water. You will come among a bunch of Holdable Icons, usually when you pick it up though you get a purple shell. You can either trade the purple shell to one of the many traders that surround the island for 25 gems. Once you find a gold coin you must give it to the Kapena Tiki Statue. Then the Kapena Tiki Statue asks you to find 3 random fruits.

The same happens for the other two Tiki Statues except the special items vary. For the Momi Statue you need to find a 3 eyed phantom like fish at one of the 4 docks on the island. Usually, you get trash cans that you can also trade to a trader for 25 gems. For the Koa Statue you need to mine a blue crystal from the grey spiky crystals that surround the island cliffs. Usually, you receive a fossil that you can trade to a trader. For both of these statues you must also find 3 random fruits.

Some times the adventure is also very laggy and it can take up to a whole minute to mine or click one item! Once in a while when you mine the grey crystals on the island no blue crystal will be found! Despite all of the faults in the game it can be very fun and rewarding. The prizes are also pretty neat. Some prizes include Coconut Drink Tray, Seashell Wind Chime, Designer Skirt, Tavie’s Guitar, Golden Bow and Arrows, Nerd Glasses, and Fox Hats.

This is one of the Holdable Icons that you can click to get a purple shell or even possibly a gold coin.

Another trash can…

Here is a banana tree that is one of the fruits that a Tiki Statue might send you to.

This is one of the traders you can trade one of your trash cans, purple shells, or fossils to.

There are many helpful animals on the island such as Mele the Monkey, Alana the Crocodile, Kaui the Sheep, Akela the Koala, and Keanu the Sloth.

I hope you found this post helpful! If you have any questions about Tiki Trouble please ask below. See you in Jamaa!

One idea is to do Twist and Turns or another Jamaa adventure with your buddies. Together in the spirit of Thanksgiving you can try and solve puzzles to save the land of Jamaa, from the phantoms!

Another idea, is that you can decorate your den for Feast of Thanks, then invite all of your buddies over for a party. You can eat lot’s of good food and have lot’s of fun. Together, you and your friends can be thankful for all your blessings.

Send a little gift with a nice message to your friends through Jam – A – Gram’s, to make them feel appreciated on this special day!

I hope you all have a fantastic Feast of Thanks!

The Phantom Badlands

Hello jammers! It’s Marigold here with a post on the newest adventure in Jamaa called The Phantom Badlands. This post might contain some spoilers. Enjoy!

The Phantom Badlands is really fun but it takes a lot of thinking. Just like in the Hidden Falls Adventure, I used the written walk through. If I hadn’t used the walk through I probably wouldn’t have made it to the end of the adventure. Here is the link to the walk through.

In  the Phantom Badlands there are 3 paths you can take, the blue, red, or purple. So far I’ve only done the blue path. My least favorite part of the adventure is probably having to get through the Phantom Tar. My favorite part of the adventure is exploring the shrine at the end. The Phantom Spouts in this adventure reminds me of the Flame Spurts in the movie The Princess Bride. The Flame Spurts have a popping sound before it shoots fire, and the phantom spouts have bubbles before it shoots phantom goop.

One thing I found interesting about this adventure is the Mechachompers. The Mechachompers are the chomper plants that destroy phantoms in this adventure. In past adventures chomper plants have been called Underground Chomper from The Hidden Falls Adventure. In underwater adventure they are called Chomper Calms. Another interesting thing about this adventure are the Bounceshrooms. The Bounceshrooms are basically mushrooms that bounce you higher. The Bounceshrooms were also used in the adventure The Front Lines.

Here is a photo gallery of this adventure:

That is our post for today. Below I have a poll, on what your favorite adventure is! Bye!

The Hidden Falls

Hi jammers! It’s Marigold, and today I am here with my thoughts on the new 2D adventure The Hidden Falls. Enjoy!

I think the Hidden Falls is a really cool adventure all in all. The few things that I don’t like are that it can be really confusing. In one part you can literally get trapped behind a door [this happened to  be in one of my many attempts.] Also it can just be frustrating like at first, the Falling Phantom part was really hard for me then over time I nailed it, I just got it.

I tried doing the Hidden Falls many times, and it was hard. It’s takes lots of motivation [and time] for this adventure. I bet as you do it more and more it does get easier, but in the beginning it feels impossible.

Two things helped in this adventure. One was The Animal Jam Wiki Hidden Falls Walkthrough. See I’m a person who likes steps written. Not that many AJ websites have that so Animal Jam Wiki is a big help. If you want the written walkthrough this is the link. Though walkthroughs aren’t the only thing that helped me, motivation helped me too. You know how in the new movie Finding Dory, her motivation is to “Just Keep Swimming.” Well, I remembered that while I was playing and I told myself “Just Keep Playing.” It helped too!

SPOILER ALERT, IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SEE THE BOTTOM OF THE WATERFALL. PLEASE IGNORE PHOTOS! Sorry, I had to do that in caps, just want to make sure people can see it clearly. As I was saying, I have some photos of me and the bottom of the waterfall.

Marigold is happy to be home!

Well, all is good now back here at the Marigold Household. I’m sitting here drinking a nice cup of tea and reading a good book, waiting for my good friend MtPeak to arrive, to discuss The Hidden Falls Adventure. Until then, I must say goodbye. Hope to see you in Jamaa.

Jamaa Journal Volume 153

Hello Jammers! Today’s post is about the new Jamaa Journal.  This new volume is super cool and full of new awesome additions to Jamaa. Enjoy the post!Screen Shot 2015-08-23 at 6.37.56 PM

The new adventure is tons of fun! In this new adventure you go to Graham’s Workshop and you collect natural resources such as wood, bamboo, gemstones, silver, gold, stone, and straw. Then when you have  enough of a resource or a couple of resources you can trade them in to Callie the Crafter to get cool items. It’s really a blast!

Screen Shot 2015-08-23 at 6.38.04 PM

The new Play Wild App is so awesome! Of course it doesn’t have all the awesome details Animal Jam on the computer does, but it’s still really neat. I love to play Falling Phantoms in the Temple of Zios and Phantom Runner in Jamaa Township. I noticed that Play Wild only has 3 parties to go to. They are Dance Party, Tea Party [Dinner Party], and Beach Party. There are 4 different animals at the moment which are wolf, bunny, monkey, and fox. I personally think that they should add koalas and pandas to the game as well. There are 2 dens, The Tree House Den and The Small House Den. When you can’t go on the computer this is a great substitute! It’s a fun and easily accessible game to play.

Snow Leopards have returned! Yes! There is a new minibook about them too! Double Yes! I went to the Chamber of Knowledge the other day and it is full of great facts. I posted some pictures of it at the bottom of the post.

There’s also a new party too! This new party is really awesome and very fun!  The party has a schoolyard that has some fun playground equipment. The locker room is full of colorful lockers. There is an awesome art room and a great classroom in the party as well.  The party has some awesome new items like:

  1. Jamaa Wall Flag           200 Gems               Non Member
  2. Teacher’s Desk              700 Gems              Member
  3. School Desk                    400 Gems               Member
